About Our Property at Young Gal Road
We've owned the property for 25 years; constructed a “built-to-last” steel frame house on a solid rock hilltop overlooking the Belize River; and lived in harmony with the amazing array of wildlife. We have enjoyed awakening to the calls of howler monkeys and birds, watching iguanas and the variety of bird-life; the 'kinkajous’ nightly foray over the 70-foot rope that connects a tree to a tray of bananas; planting and nurturing the trees, growing 'pitayas', and the serenity of life surrounded by rain forest.
